Mill Spring Monday: The Story Behind Blue Moon Salt & Sauna

Every Monday, we like to pull back the curtain on a local business and the person behind it. This week, that's Sue, owner of Blue Moon Salt & Sauna in Green Creek.

Sue opened Blue Moon Salt & Sauna last October, driven by a belief she's carried for a long time. In her own words:

"I've always been a firm believer in taking charge of my own health through a preventative approach as well as alternative and holistic healing modalities and felt called to share this with others. Healing takes place in many forms...not just detoxing our physical bodies, but minding our mental, emotional and spiritual bodies as well. A healthy balance of all is key!"

What started as one woman's vision has grown into something bigger. Since opening, several local healers have found their way to Blue Moon Salt & Sauna, asking to be part of the growing need Sue tapped into — and she's welcomed each one. Today, the space offers a wide range of services including infrared sauna, salt room therapy, ionic foot baths, Reiki, acupuncture, massage, and spiritual guidance.

Sue shared that as interest continues to grow, she and her team plan to expand — adding more workshops and healing modalities so more people in our community can discover other paths to a healthy, balanced life.

That's the heart of Mill Spring Monday: local people, building something real, right here where we live.
